A NOTE OF SPECIAL THANKS: To those who have organized recent fundraising events and activities to raise money for the Museum's ongoing projects.
We are very excited about the recent ground-breaking for the PEACE Pavillion and addition of the KIA garden.
We could not do these projects without the generosity of our construction workers who donate their time and resources. Thank you so much for all you do.
We are a 501c3 organization - your donations are tax deductible

WWII LIVING HISTORY CAMP
A timeline has been set for the World War II Living History Weekend to be held October 13-14. The event will kick off with a band and a WWII era dance at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13. The public is invited to attend and encouraged to dress in period clothing.
Saturday, October 14, will be full of events from 9 to 4. Everyone is to be set up by 9 a.m. with a WWII Living History Camp on the museum grounds. This is being coordinated by the Central Arkansas Re-enactors Association. There is also a swap meet/greet and sell of military items. One may walk around and see the period vehicles and talk to the owners as well as with the re-enactors.
At 1 p.m., the museum will honor WWII veterans with a special program and presentation. A re-enactment will follow at 2 p.m. portraying a 1945 battle. The parade of vehicles will follow at 2:45.
This year, other agencies in Vilonia have joined the event providing added events. The Vilonia Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an arts and crafts show. The Vilonia Lions Club will be cooking hotdogs and hamburgers. As well, some of the Vilonia Car Club members will be showing their period vehicles.
