The Museum also provides opportunities for both adult and youth needing community service hours.
Vets are also treated to free coffee!
Complimentary Tours
The museum offers to the public complimentary tours by our volunteer staff and Veterans who are always proud to share their experiences with visitors.

We have welcomed thousands of visitors over the years, and look forward to many more.
Education
The museum serves as an important educational resource for public and private school students and provides an interactive venue to those interested in learning about military history.  Veterans often volunteer to share their experiences, and give insight about the war in which they served.  Many authentic uniforms, weapons, flags, helmets and gear from the Civil War through current day are on display  Pictured: Museum Brigade member and historian Robert Swain in Civil War attire talks with students
Veterans Programs
The museum hosts many programs and events throughout the year including the annual Veterans Day Program and 5K walk/run, and Veteran of the Year.  Many of these programs are fundraisers to support museum efforts and operational costs.  Thanks to those who volunteer and organize events to help fund the Vilonia Veterans Museum.  Your efforts are highly appreciated!
